HARI LINGKUNGAN HIDUP SEDUNIA

Tahukah kalian bahwa tanggal 5 Juni merupakan hari lingkungan hidup Internasional?
Hari lingkungan hidup internasional ditetapkan PBB pada 1972 saat pembukaan konferensi lingkungan hidup di Stockholm. Hari Lingkungan Hidup sedunia ini digunakan PBB untuk meningkatkan kesadaran tentang lingkungan dan mendorong perhatian dan tindakan politik di tingkat dunia. Sebagai milik seluruh masyarakat, hari lingkungan hidup sedunia memberi kesempatan kepada semua orang untuk menjadi bagian aksi global dalam menyuarakan proteksi terhadap planet bumi, pemanfaatan sumber daya alam yang berkelanjutan serta gaya hidup yang ramah lingkungan.
Tips menjaga Lingkungan Hidup
Berikut ini adalah beberapa tips kegiatan yang bisa kita lakukan untuk menjaga lingkungan:

  • Bersepeda, sepeda adalah transportasi umum yang sangat ramah lingkungan. Sepeda tidak mengeluarkan polusi seperti kendaraan bermotor. Selain ramah lingkungan, sepeda juga menyehatkan badan kita untuk yang menggunakannya lho. Kalau memang jarak yang ditempuh tidak bisa menggunakan sepeda, kita bisa menaiki transportasi umum.
  • Mengolah sampah, sampah menjadi barang yang paling berbahaya bagi lingkungan hidup. Banyak tanaman yang tercemar karena sampah, banyak pula hewan yang mati karena sampah. Karena itu kita sebagai manusia yang menghasilkan sampah harus bisa menjaga dan mengolah sampah dengan baik. Beberapa contoh baik dalam mengolah sampah yaitu mengolah kertas bekas menjadi kertas daur ulang dan juga membuat kerajinan tangan dari sampah plastik dan mengolah sampah organik untuk pupuk kompos. Selain mengolah sampah kita bisa menjaga penggunaan sampah seperti mengganti plastik dengan tas belanja.
  • Menghemat air, air adalah benda yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk semua makhluk hidup karena semakin berkurangnya ketersediaan air bersih di bumi kita harus menghemat air. Dengan menghemat air kita bisa menjaga keberlangsungan semua makhluk hidup di bumi ini.
  • Bijak energi, energi fosil yaitu menjadi energi yang banyak digunakan, namun energi fosil menghasilkan polusi yang dapat merusak lingkungan. Selain itu, energi fosil juga semakin menipis ketersediaannya di bumi ini. Kita sebagai pengguna yang baik bisa bijak dalam penggunaan energi seperti menghemat listrik, yaitu mematikan lampu dan peralatan elektronik yang tidak terpakai. Selain bijak penggunaan listrik kita bisa menghemat energi dengan mengganti energi fosil ke energi terbarukan yang ramah lingkungan.
  • Menanam pohon, pohon menjadi sebuah sumber penghidupan bagi semua makhluk di bumi ini. Dengan terjaganya pohon semakin terjaga juga kehidupan lingkungan hidup.
