Perdebatan RUU Permusikan terus membesar bak bola salju, sejumlah musisi yang tergabung dalam koalisi nasional tolak RUU Permusikan menggalang petisi penolakan draft RUU tersebut.
Menurut Beberapa musisi 92% RUU permusikan tidak masuk akal dan tidak di butuhkan oleh musisi maka dari itu, Mahasiswa(i) Adminisrasi Niaga sebagai moral of force bangsa ini, telah menyikapi RUU permusikan tersebut dengan mengutarakan pendapatnya pada forum Arisan Wacana, Jumat 22 Januari 2019 yang berjudul “Apakah Musik dapat Membantai Hak Asasi Manusia?”
Berikut ini Rancangan Undang-Undang permusikan yang terdiri atas 54 pasal:

Di dalam pasal tersebut sekurang-kurangnya ada 19 pasal bermasalah di dalamnya yakni pasal 4,5,7,10,11,12,13,15,18,19,20,21,31,32,33,42,49,50,dan 51. Pasal-pasal tersebut dinilai menimbulkan pasal karet dan menyudutkan industri musik independen.
Adapun tanggapan teman-teman dari berbagai pihak pada forum tersebut sebagai berikut.
Saudara Agung dari pihak kontra menyatakan bahwa, “Saya tidak setuju karena Rancangan Undang Undang permusikan bertolak belakang dengan Undang Undang pada pasal 28 ayat 1-3 yang menyatakan bahwa semua bangsa Indonesia berhak menyuarakan pendapatnya.”
Saudara Alam dari pihak kontra juga menyuarakan pendapatnya bahwa, “Musik sebagai salah satu ruang bagi mahasiswa untuk menyampaikan hasil-hasil pemikirannya”
Saudara Husni menambahkan, “Rancangan Undang Undang tersebut dapat mengekang kreatifitas manusia dalam menyampaikan wujud dari pemikiran-pemikirannya.”
Tanggapan terakhir dari Saudari Reni, “Rancangan ini sudah tidak ada gunanya lagi karena tidak jelas tujuan dari dibuatnya ini aturan, baik itu dari segi objeknya dan sasarannya”
Dari pihak pro menyatakan setuju dengan Rancangan Undang Undang tersebut sebab banyaknya unsur-unsur negatif pada lirik musik zaman sekarang yang dapat merusak generasi bangsa karena kebebasannya dalam menuliskan lirik-lirik lagu seperti yang dinyatakan oleh Saudari Vivi “lirik-lirik pada music jaman sekarang banyak mengandung unsur-unsur negative dan SARA yang dapat merusak generasi bangsa.”
Selain itu banyaknya konten-konten video yang mengungkit unsur agama, dengan menduakan Tuhan dan menganggap benda-benda sebagai Tuhannya. Lirik-lirik yang ada di music zaman sekarang sudah tidak lagi sesuai dengan makna yang sebenarnya.
Berdasarkan diskusi teman-teman mengenai Rancangan Undang Undang Permusikan, notulen dapat mengambil kesimpulan sebagai berikut:
Sebelum dirancangnya RUU permusikan sebaiknya ada edukasi ke masyarakat agar penginformasiannya lebih diketahui dan lebih terarah. Dan yang kedua masyarakat juga perlu menilai dan tidak semerta-semerta menjustifikasi aturan yang dibuat oleh pemerintah tanpa adanya dasar-dasar yang jelas. Rancangan Undang Undang ini sendiri perlu dikaji ulang oleh semua pihak yang terlibat baik itu dari segi penikmat, pembuat dan konten-kontek musiknya serta promotor yang terkait.
